What better way to end your school trip than a good old-fashioned street brawl?
The cover of this chapter always makes me think of the poster for Beverly Hills Cop 2… Both the pose and getup are eerily similar. Knowing the author it wouldn’t be crazy to think it’s an intentional reference, but the weird thing is that this particular chapter predates the whole BHC series by a couple of years. So, freak coincidence, or was Eddie Murphy secretly inspired by Kimengumi? You decide.
Part 10 of the school trip series.
In Kimengumi related news, the series is getting a theatrical adaptation next year… Strange idea, but would be interesting to see how that turns out.
It’s been a loooooong time, but here we are at the penultimate episode. What a time to be alive, huh?
Thanks to all followers and Ideon fans out there, especially those who have been patient enough to stick with us since the beginning. I hope you enjoyed the series as much as I did.
Don’t drink and Kimen
Volume 4 begins with a chapter mainly centered on the Iro-Otokogumi.
